DUAYEN FTSS II, the Fuel Tank Self-Sealing system, is an innovative 3-component spray system designed to minimize or prevent fuel leakage due to small arms fire in fuel tankers. This can create hazardous conditions and operational risks due to resulting fuel shortage for fuel-carrying troops. It is applied in three (top coat) layers.

Duayen FTSS II coating is based on suitable technology that enhances the safety of any vulnerable vehicle, train, or ship-based fuel tank. This technology also applies to storage tanks, pipelines, and other fuel structures. Duayen FTSS II coating permanently seals fuel tank perforations caused by small arms and shrapnel. It also provides corrosion and abrasion protection to FTSS-coated surfaces and enhances the structural integrity of the fuel tank.
