DUAYEN TECH 406, nem içeren gözenekli alt tabakalara (örneğin ahşap) sahip sandviç elemanların üretiminde kullanılır. Alt tabakalar birbirine veya metallere, lamine panellere, çeşitli plastiklere, polistirenden, poliüretandan ve diğerlerinden yapılmış sert köpüklere bağlanabilir. DUAYEN TECH 406 is used in the production of sandwich elements with moisture-containing porous base layers (e.g., wood). The base layers can be bonded to each other or to metals, laminated panels, various plastics, rigid foams made of polystyrene, polyurethane, and others. The main area of application is the manufacturing of sandwich elements such as mineral fiber-core or mat-faced facade elements bonded to coated sheet metal or compression molding compounds and gypsum boards, used in partition walls (thermal insulation, soundproofing).
